Justin is the Senior Vice President and National Practice Leader at Aon and leads the Environmental Services Group (ESG), with
an eight-member team whose expertise ELM has the privilege to draw upon with respect to risk mitigation strategies and insurance. Justin provides risk advisory, including environmental risk identification and assessment, contract management consulting, and insurance policy development and placement for clients within Aon’s many national industry practice groups including manufacturing, energy, mining, aviation, power, public sector, construction, food and agribusiness. He has delivered presentations to Canadian boards, consulted on many of Canada’s significant infrastructure placements, advocated on several client claims and assisted in structuring and writing global environmental risk placements.
He has also served as a lead consultant on environmental risk in various mergers and acquisitions and public infrastructure developments. Justin has co-authored articles for publication and is relied upon as a speaker on the topic of environmental risk through discussion panels, seminars and conferences. Justin served in underwriting for five years and contributed to underwriting some of the most complex environmental placements in Canada and has continued to advance the expectation of insurance coverage. Justin has a bachelor’s in environmental studies and a Masters in Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo. He also has a Certified Risk Management Designation
